Christian Bygott
Christian Bygott recently appeared as Pulcinella with The Philadelphia Orchestra in Igor Stravinsky’s Pulcinella Dances. Graduate of Antonio Fava's Scuola Internationale dell’Attore Comico, in Italy, he has played Lysandro in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (opera) and Il Contadino in The Winter’s Tale (opera), Stefano and Gonzalo in Teatro delle Due’s The Tempest in Teatro Verdi, Reggio Emilia and also starred as Flavio, Pantalone and Zanni in La Pazzia Senile, Lo Zabaione Musicale and La Saviezza Giovanile with the Claudio Merulo Chorus in Chiostro di Sant’Agostino, Modena, Italy. He performed Francis Flute in a new operatic version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream this past summer, which had three performances in Teatro Avvaloranti, Citta' della Pieve, Italy and opened the theater season in Teatro Mancinelli, Orvieto. Most recently he appeared as Chris in his brother Bernard's new two-person play, Receiving Me, which opened at the Philly Fringe Festival.
